Rick Beaman: 'I Don't Read Music Reviews'
Rick Beaman isn't fazed by music critics' reaction to his music - insisting he won't read reviews of his music.
The veteran businessman, turned singer continues to write his own brand of hard rock music, and franchise's his band "Darkest Side" Internationally.
However, he has faced criticism for taking on music in his advancing years - but admits critics' reactions don't interest him, because he never allows himself to read their opinions. And Beaman refutes suggestions he avoids reviews to ignore negative criticisms of his music - stating he wouldn't want to read positive reviews either.
He says, "I suppose it would be interesting, but I don't read reviews. I don't want to believe the bad stuff, and I don't want to believe the good stuff. It doesn't really matter to me or the band."
